Once upon a time… (Reiz bija…)

Miraculous story "Once upon a time…" takes viewer to an exciting adventure; brother Jānis and his sister Laima receives a task- to explore their land’s past. They need to find out how the world was created and they also have to wake up the sleeping soldiers who are going to guard our land. In their journey they meet Latvian mythological characters, which can tell them a lot of legends about their land’s past. Finally, they arrive to the heaven, where they meet God himself… Children understand, that a lot of things from the past haven’t changed and that asleep and awaken soldiers lives in every one of us. That is self-confidence of the nation, which encourages each of us to protect our land- with knowledge and active action.
The theatrical is devised for families with their children (age 5 – 15).
Consists of two acts.
